PhD Studies at MISU

The Department of Meterology offers PhD studies in a wide range of subjects within atmospheric and oceanographic studies, e.g. dynamical meteorology, physical oceanography, chemical meteorology and atmospheric physics. See Fields of Research or our Biannual Reports for more information about the research at MISU. Doctoral studies are full-time studies during four years.

Handbook for PhD students

The Handbook for Postgraduate Students is intended both for those who are thinking about starting doctoral studies and also students who have already begun these programs. The Handbook contains most of the information you need about your rights and obligations and the conditions that apply to postgraduate programmes in Sweden. It contains a lot of practical tips and advice that you cannot really do without.
